I begin with a consultation at your building site. We look at the natural environment, evaluating things such as soil type and composition, drainage, views, design advantages and obstacles.

Pricing - Cost Plus A Fixed Fee

We use a “cost plus a fixed fee” approach to pricing jobs. You will be provided estimates for materials and labor based on our experience and current material costs which will include our fixed fee for construction supervision. You will pay actual job costs without additional markup from the builder.  Conventional building estimates also typically include a “cushion” that the builder adds to cover contingencies and possible errors in their estimate. With our system these additional markups are not there. Our clients appreciate knowing all the facts and knowing exactly where their money is being spent.  You will see the subcontractor bids and together we will decide who to choose based on cost, knowledge of their work, reliability, and trustworthiness.  We become a team working to save you money.
